Hunan Valin Lianyuan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as LY Steel) is located in Loudi City, Hunan Province, which was built and put into production in 1958. It is one of the backbone enterprises of Hunan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd.. With a set of modern technical equipment from coking, sintering, steelmaking, rolling, processing to distribution, it is the main processing base of high-end medium and thin gauge heat-treated sheet in the world, the largest substrate material manufacturer of oriented and non-oriented silicon steel in China. LY Steel was granted with national high-tech enterprise, "Green factory" of Hunan Province. LY Steel has a total assets of 54.51 billion yuan and 11,400 employees, its annual sales revenue reached 90 billion yuan.
over the years, LY Steel has consistently adhered to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as a guide, implemented the new development concept, applied the quality and benefit strategy, and accelerated high-quality development. It has developed more than 600 featured products such as cold-rolled and hot-rolled automotive steel, engineering machinery steel, and steel for household appliances. The domestic market share of engineering machinery steel, wear-resistant steel, and hot-rolled oriented silicon steel has risen to the first place. A total of 62 key products have replaced imports, and products are exported to more than 60 countries and regions in Southeast Asia, Europe and America, with export volume reach up to 500,000 ton, it has been 3 years consecutively granted as China Excellent Steel Enterprise Brand, and granted with "National Technology Center", "National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise"and ”Scientific Reform Demonstration Enterprise. LY Steel also supplies substrate to VAMA who owns the production technology of third-generation high-end automotive steel.
